The Shift Away from Public Cloud

Back

Stryve’s CEO, Andrew Tobin, speaks to The Business Post about the recent evolution in cloud computing. He explains how public cloud – a service that the world’s largest tech companies continue to invest billions in – poses a security threat to users because of its “massive attack surface”.

Nevertheless, Tobin acknowledges that, with the recent shift to remote working, having servers on-premise is simply no longer a viable option. He tells readers that companies should be giving their security as much attention as they do their cash flow or P&L sheets, concluding that for many businesses, private cloud emerges as the best way forward.
