Stryve CISO finalises in the EU Cyber Awards

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Paul Delahunty has been shortlisted for an EU Cyber Award 2023. Paul is in the running for the prestigious CISO of the Year Award for his contribution to the industry. Paul was also named Security Leader of the Year (2023) in March at the CIO and IT Leaders Awards this year.

The EU Cyber Awards, taking place in Dublin on December 5th, recognise the best individuals, teams, solutions, and organisations in the industry and highlight innovation, knowledge, and ethics as key themes across the categories.

Paul is well-known in the Irish cybersecurity industry as an innovative leader. A certified CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with over 15 years of experience in information security, Paul is an active member of several Irish cybersecurity action groups, helping to build a more resilient cybersecurity culture across the country aligned with Cyber Ireland’s national activities.

He is a popular keynote speaker at national and international cybersecurity conferences and events and a regular contributor to the national conversation on cybersecurity in print media, radio, and television.

The winners of the EU Cyber Awards will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony at The Mansion House on December 5th. 400 cybersecurity-industry leaders from across Europe will gather to celebrate the achievements of its top talent.

The organisers, the ICTTF, “believe innovation and knowledge are key weapons in defending against cyber threats. The awards are an opportunity to recognise individuals and organisations that make a difference and focus light on the future of the industry.”
