Overview

Total Produce is one of Europe’s premier fresh produce providers with over 4,000 employees operating out of 100 facilities across 20 countries. The company grows, sources, imports, packages, distributes and markets over 200 lines of fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. The Total Produce group distributes some 300 million cartons of fresh produce to the retail, wholesale, foodservice and processing sectors across Europe and North America annually.

Total Produce began to experience several issues with its on-premise computing solution. The company’s ageing IT infrastructure led to prolonged service interruptions and was not meeting the organisation’s requirements. This, in turn, caused employees a great deal of stress. Total Produce was unsure how to build a centralized system or move the company’s current on-premise infrastructure into the cloud.
