Total Produce is one of Europe’s premier fresh produce providers with over 4,000 employees operating out of 100 facilities across 20 countries. The company grows, sources, imports, packages, distributes and markets over 200 lines of fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. The Total Produce group distributes some 300 million cartons of fresh produce to the retail, wholesale, foodservice and processing sectors across Europe and North America annually.

The Business Continuity Challenge
Total Produce required a business continuity solution for critical applications, including their Oracle applications, to provide an RTO which would meet their business requirements. Total Produce found it difficult to find the optimal solution until contact was established with Stryve. The key requirements to be addressed at the time related to Performance after backup, restoration to specific checkpoints, speed and reliability of logs and lastly, the ability of the company to test a recovery process was proving difficult. Their business demanded better performance, and in addition, their hardware was nearing end of life.
